Toddler Junk Food May Yield a Lower IQ

In what the average organic food lover might say "no duh" to, a British study of 14,000 people in England found that kids with a junk food diet yielded less intelligence later in life.

The study investigated and monitored children at certain intervals in life regarding the type of food and drinks they consumed.

When the children were 8 years old, their IQ was measured and those who ate "processed" food as opposed to "health-conscious" food, had lower IQ's.

The size of the study was quite large and is in a peer-reviewed journal.
